With all the furor surrounding our recent Tales of the Cocktail nomination, the media has come thick and fast. The latest is from Canadian Men’s Magazine, Sharp. When asked to throw a classic style cocktail out into the world, I couldn’t think of a better summer thirst quencher than the Corn & Oil. 2 oz Cruzan Black Strap Rum
1 oz HOUSE MADE Falernum (www.housemade.ca)
Dashes of Angotsura Bitters
Quarter of a lime as a garnish
Build and swizzle over crushed ice, squeeze lime in for acidity.
