With Portland, Oregon being one of our closest neighbours when it comes to culture, foodies and the arts, it is odd that we haven’t done more bars in this wonderful city.
The Bent Brick bar is manned by Adam Robinson, a dyed in the wool bartender with a passion for competing and creating some wicked cocktails. These cocktails have followed him from various competitions and establishments and can be enjoyed when Adam is behind the bar. The program at Bent Brick is different and fun, like Portland itself, it has laid back and comfortable atmosphere with a serious emphasis on local food & drink.
Here is what Eater PDX said – Less than two weeks after its debut, Scott Dolich’s NW bar the Bent Brick is already getting some national coverage. Here, Serious Eats devotes a slideshow to bartender Adam Robinson’s entire cocktail menu, and Eater would like to crown a winner of the best accessory award: The Sovereign Remedy, which features Deco Silver rum, B.G. Reynold’s falernum syrup, Herbsaint (an anise-flavored liquor), and Cock & Bull ginger beer.
