I am fortuante enough that I travel all over the world for work and play and get to tag along with some top bartenders to great bars. Vesper was one that I was lucky enough to enjoy with Philip Duff early last year and now it’s a real honour to homage them at Clive’s.
Vesper is a tiny eclectic little bar that mirrors what I would love to do in “retirement”, a hole in the wall somewhere with a huge selection of spirits and about 25-30 seats. Vesper is situated in this small little housing community outside of the downtown core of Amsterdam. It’s quaint but with all the punch of a high end, world class bar. The room is exceptional along with a collection of vintage spirits. A worthy candidate for Homage Cocktail Friday.
